By accessing and using KravDonor ("the Platform", "the Service"), whether through our website (kravdonor.pet and its subdomains) or mobile applications (iOS and Android), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Service Description

KravDonor is a pet blood donor registry platform accessible via website and mobile applications that connects pet owners who have registered their pets as potential blood donors with veterinary professionals and animal welfare associations seeking blood donors for animals in need. The Platform facilitates matching based on animal type, blood type, and geographic location.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts and Responsibilities

4.1 Public Users (Pet Owners)

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your pets
  • Keep pet information up to date, including health status, vaccinations, and age
  • Respond promptly to blood donation requests when contacted
  • Inform us if your pet is no longer available as a donor
  • Consult with your veterinarian before allowing your pet to donate blood
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

4.2 Professional Users (Veterinarians/Organizations)

  • Provide accurate professional credentials for validation
  • Use the Platform only for legitimate blood donation needs
  • Respect the privacy of pet owners and use their contact information solely for blood donation coordination
  • Do not abuse the request system or send spam requests
  • Maintain professional standards when contacting pet owners
  • Comply with all applicable veterinary and animal welfare regulations

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the Platform for commercial purposes unrelated to blood donation
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform without permission
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the Platform to spam or send unsolicited communications

6. Disclaimers

6.1 Not Medical or Veterinary Advice

KravDonor is a matching platform only. We do not provide medical or veterinary advice. All decisions regarding blood donation, donor eligibility, and medical procedures must be made in consultation with qualified veterinary professionals. We are not responsible for the health outcomes of any animals involved in blood donation.

6.2 User Verification

While we validate professional users, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information provided by users. You are responsible for verifying the credentials and legitimacy of anyone you interact with through the Platform.

6.3 Platform Availability

We do not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times or that blood donors will be available when needed. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KravDonor and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:

  • Health complications or death of animals involved in blood donation
  • Interactions or disputes between users
  • Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by users
  • Technical failures or data loss
  • Unauthorized access to your account or information

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed €100.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KravDonor, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Mobile Application License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use our mobile applications on devices you own or control, solely for accessing the Service.

10.1 Third-Party App Store Terms

  • If you download our app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement
  • If you download our app from Google Play Store, you acknowledge and agree to Google Play Terms of Service
  • We are not responsible for third-party app store policies, fees, or technical requirements
  • Your relationship with the app store provider is governed by their terms, not ours

10.2 App Updates and Requirements

We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the mobile application from time to time. Some updates may be required for continued use of the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your device meets the minimum system requirements. We may discontinue support for older app versions or operating systems at our discretion.

10.3 License Restrictions

  • You may not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the mobile application
  • You may not distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the application
  • You may not use the application for any commercial purpose outside the scope of the Service
  • You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the application

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your license to use the mobile application is automatically revoked, and you must delete the app from all devices.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or through a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bulgaria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sofia, Bulgaria.

15. Severability

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and KravDonor regarding the use of the Platform.
